Matrizes Geradoras de Autovetores para Construção de Transformadas de Hartley Fracionárias

In this paper, we propose a method based on generating matrices for constructing eigenvectors of the discrete Hartley transform (DHT). The obtained eigenvector sets are characterized and employed in the definition of a fractional DHT (DFrHT). A real-valued version of the DFrHT is then presented; since the number of free parameters of such a transform is greater than that of the corresponding Fourier transforms, its usage in image encryption may provide advantages related to the robustness against certain cryptographic attacks. A preliminary evaluation regarding this possibility is performed in the final part of this work.
