Resumo
This paper analyzes the influence of the vertical discretization step on the numerical behavior of the DMFT-SSPE algorithm for propagation scenarios at 1 GHz, 10 GHz, and 26 GHz. The analysis considers statistical error metrics, numerical stability, and path loss responses for flat terrain and wedge configurations. The results show that similar statistical error levels may produce different propagation behaviors and that instability regions become more frequent at higher frequencies. The study also highlights the sensitivity of the algorithm to discretization variations and to instability regions associated with the ``bad alpha'' phenomenon.
