Abstract
This paper presents a theoretical analysis of radiation of a magnetic line current in regions composed by three media with horizontal and vertical stratification. Using the Maxwell equations and the Green's function method, we derive a system of integral equation to calculate the fields in the three media. The Method of Moments was used to solve this system, but some results were obtained by Finite Element Method for comparison. The results show four examples of regions with different materials combinations (air, water and soil) and source operating in 521 MHz with vertical polarization.
