Abstract
The H∞ filters are interesting alternatives to the famed Kalman filter in most estimation problems. They give hard upper bounds on the estimation errors, independently of the disturbances distributions, while the optimality of the Kalman filter relies on the knowledge of statistical properties of the disturbances. H2 and H∞ equalizers were implemented in order to deal with time-variant channels and their behavior was investigated.
