Abstract
In this work, we propose a feedback-assisted version of the Adaptive Network Coded Cooperation (ANCC) scheme, recently proposed by Bao and Li for a network consisting of M users having independent information to send to a common base station. The aim is to increase the system rate without compromising its error performance, based on a small amount of feedback sent by the base station (only one bit for each received block is sufficient). Two different approaches are proposed. The expected rate is analyzed, and simulation results agree with the analytical ones. The system’s error performance is also evaluated through simulations, and we show that the performance is not degraded by the increase in the rate.
