Abstract
This work describes a hybrid formulation meshless-MoM approach to solve 2-dimensional scattering problems. The Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin, applied to the inner region, is used with shape functions generated by the Radial Point Interpolation Method with polynomial reproduction. The Method of Moments, applied to the outer region, is used to solve the electric and magnetic field integral equations. Both regions are coupled forcing the electromagnetic field's tangent components continuity. The results are compared with analytical and FEM solutions.
