Abstract
This paper reports the manufacture, doping and optical characterization of star-type (Poly-Methyl-Methacrylate) PMMA mPOFs doped with CdSe/ZnS quantum-dots, which are intended to be a visible optical amplifier media for “short-waves” (< 600 nm, specially 570 nm) for PMMA POF links.
