Abstract
The Centralized Radio Access Network (C-RAN) architectures in the future mobile networks will have to employ, besides the optical links, the already available ethernet copper infrastructure in the connection between Base Band Units (BBU’s) and Remote Radio Heads (RRH’s) in order to cut implementation costs. This approach should include techniques to mitigate the crosstalk between twisted wires, which employ measurements that uses equipment at both loop ends. However, the service is stopped whenever such measurements are performed. This paper proposes a method based on linear regression to perform the most part of those measurements just from the BBU
