Abstract
In realistic scenarios, imperfect Channel State Information (CSI) at the transmitter can induce the resource assignment to a user whose real channel state cannot support a required data rate, harming the system performance. This work focuses on the impacts of the CSI imperfections as well as of the interference in multicellular scenarios on the performance of the Throughput-Based Satisfaction Maximization (TSM) Radio Resource Allocation (RRA) algorithm. Simulation results indicate that, in this scenario, the TSM algorithm achieves higher satisfaction percentages than the Signal-to-Interference plus Noise (SINR) Maximization algorithm, in spite of its higher sensitivity to both effects.
