Abstract
The Vectorcardiogram (VCG) is a threedimensional representation of the cardiac electrical activities. It allows to extract information or parameters that are useful on the cardiac pathologies detection. The present paper deals with analysing Butterworth filters, based on the parameters gathered by an algorithm of VCG processing, in order to discover which frequency bands provide results closer to the other authors. The 0.5 to 500 Hz pass-band filter resulted in a correlation of 97% with the referenced paper, while the second implementation of filters rejected the equality hypothesis.
