Avaliação Comparativa de Algoritmos STAP-CFAR para Detecção em Cenários Marítimos com Clutter K-Distribuído

This work compares STAP-CFAR combinations applied to target detection in maritime radar with K-distributed clutter. SMI and NSCM covariance estimators are evaluated with CA-CFAR and OS-CFAR detectors using Monte Carlo simulations and ROC curves. The study considers a controlled statistical scenario with fixed parameters and homogeneous CFAR reference cells. Results indicate higher robustness of NSCM under impulsive clutter and better CA-CFAR performance in the analyzed homogeneous scenario.
