Resumo

This paper presents a novel hybrid receiver for Orthogonal Chirp Division Multiplexing (OCDM) systems in 6G terahertz communications, in which a Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) network acts as a residual compensator after analytical reception, exploiting the sequential structure of the stochastic distortions of common phase error (CPE) and inter-chirp interference (ICI) that escape deterministic modeling. Operating at 237.7 GHz with 4-QAM and no additional pilots, the architecture reduces the BER from 6.74×10−7 to 7.31×10−8 at Eb/N0 = 30 dB, shifting the error floor by one order of magnitude and consolidating the complementarity between physical modeling and machine learning.
