Evolved Packet Core (EPC): Uma Avaliação de desempenho entre solução open source e proprietária

This work presents a comparative analysis between two core network solutions: the open-source platform Open5GS and the proprietary solution C2n developed by CPQD Foundation (Telecommunications Research and Development Center), considering the use of backhaul via Low Earth Orbit satellites (LEO). The evaluation is based on monitoring the signaling exchange between the eNB (Evolved Node B), the UE (User Equipment), and the core network, aiming to verify interoperability, compliance with 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) specifications, and performance in registration and session establishment procedures.
