Sistema de IoT Baseado em LoRa para Monitoramento da Fauna Sul-Mineira
LoRaIoTMonitoramento de Fauna
Resumo
This work presents the development and validation of a low-cost national Internet of Things (IoT) collar for monitoring Puma concolor, Panthera onca, and Chrysocyon brachyurus. The solution acquires environmental, behavioral, and energy-related variables, with data transmission via LoRa (Long Range) to three gateways. Signal source estimation is based on RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) values, which are consolidated at a main gateway and sent to the cloud via MQTT, with visualization provided through a Node-RED dashboard. Bench tests confirmed data acquisition, transmission, and end-to-end system integration, demonstrating the feasibility of the proposed solution for scalable and low-cost monitoring, with potential applications in wildlife management and conservation.
