Protocolo Cooperativo de Rádio Cognitivo Explorando Retransmissões do Primário

This paper evaluates the use of cooperation in a cognitive overlay network, where the secondary link exploits the retransmissions of the primary link. We show that, using coo- perative communication, the transmission rate of the secondary link can be considerably increased as compared with existing schemes in the literature, without causing major impact on the performance of the primary link. The best configuration for the proposed scheme is that in which the secondary nodes are close the primary transmitter.
