Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the rate matching method of LDPC codes of the radio access interface 5G New Radio, proposed for the eMBB usage scenario. The objective is to discuss the puncturing and lifting techniques, which guarantee that the code rate change without the need for a complete system change. The obtained results are in agreement with the results presented in the 3GPP discussions.
