Abstract
This paper presents the project of an electromagnetic energy harvester device, which finds its applications in the power supply of mobile phones. A bio-inspired antenna and a low-cost rectifier circuit were fabricated on a FR4 substrate. The proposed rectenna is designed to operate in the Wi-Fi band at 2.45GHz. The measured result of the output voltage of the energy harvester circuit is presented, showing good agreement with the simulation.
