Abstract
This study evaluates the spectral patterns of electromyography signals obtained during fatigue induction with compressive sensing on a time variant sampling rate. It proposes a subsampling technique without the use of transforms, designed for cyclical dynamic contraction signals. The effects of the proposed technique were evaluated on the mean frequency values of the dynamic contraction cycles (fatigue indication parameter). The proposed methodology was evaluated through the correlation coefficient (ρ) between the mean frequency values obtained with and without the technique, obtaining 𝝆≅𝟎.𝟗 for an average rate of 250Hz (75% inferior to the Nyquist rate).
