Abstract

This paper analyses the frequency sharing between FS transmitters and HDFSS terminals operating as secondary users. The use of a REM is considered to help the operation of the HDFSS terminals, which use Cognitive Radio techniques. Anew REM generation method based on the detection probabilities associated with each of the cooperating secondary users is proposed and evaluated.
