Abstract

In this paper we perform a comparative study of four restoration algorithms, taking into account scenarios for all-optical networks and translucent optical networks. The results obtained can help a network designer in their decisions-making. For example, it is possible to propose an infrastructure that has an average cost and a high survivability capacity.
