Aplicação do Modelamento Esparso em Rádios Cognitivos para Detecção do Espectro

Spectrum detection is the first step for it’s opportunistic utilization in Cognitive Radios. In this paper, a method that uses sparse modeling for spectrum detection and free channel identification considering Brazil's commercial TV spectrum and white noise is presented. The results show that the proposed technique can obtain high precision in channel occupancy detection, even in low signal-to-noise scenarios.
