Redução de interferências em aparelhos auditivos com um beamformer multi-split GSC e microfones direcionais

As the world’s population gets older, more people acquire some form of hearing impairment, making the social interaction more difficult and reducing the quality of life. Although each deficiency has a cause, and therefore a specific solution, the increase in the signal to noise and signal to interference ratios can reduce their overall impact. This paper proposes the utilization of a Multi-Split GSC (Generalized Sidelobe Canceler) Beamformer in hearing aids with directional microphones, to improve the signal to interference ratio for people with hearing disabilities. Tests compare the performance of the presented technique with an established technique in different environments and settings, and the results were positive in all cases.
