Comunicações em Minas Subterrâneas

This article presents an overview of underground mine communications, addressing issues like propagation and noise model, transmission modes (Through-The-Wire, ThroughThe-Air and Through-The-Earth), as well as as a summary of some employed technologies and protocols. This work aims to bring an overview of the current technology scenario and can be used as a starting point for future studies in the area.
